WHAT IS AN EMPATH?
Empaths feel energy and their surroundings more deeply than others. They have an innate ability to intuitively feel and perceive more information about others - people, places and things - without really trying. In fact, they may have a hard time turning off all this information. This can lead to anxiety, depression, burnout, and weight gain.
Perhaps you feel anxiety every-time you walk into a shopping mall. Or your body reacts more deeply and adversely when you go to see your favorite band in concert. Sometimes you walk into a room and the space feels off, like something bad happened there. Perhaps you feel like many foods you eat hurt your stomach, cause acne, or other symptoms. Or that you have a special connection with animals. Or the earth. Or people that have passed over. You're probably a highly sensitive empath.
Yet you may feel like being a highly sensitive empath is more of a curse than a blessing in our hustling and bustling world. If you're being zinged around by the energies you experience every day, that is no fun. It doesn't have to be that way. You can learn how to keep yourself strong, centered and grounded whether you are in a crowd or at home. You need to make sure you have a superstructure in place.
That's where I come in. I am an Empath. I now realize it is my asset, not a curse. I empower Empaths to develop their unique superstructure which keeps them strong, balanced and grounded.
